JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor/Director performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.  Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required.

Participates in coverage for the 24 hour/7 day Radiology operation, including holidays, nights, weekends and call.                                                        

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Completion of a certificate or degree course of study in radiologic technology
• Current ARRT certification. 

Experience:

• Theoretical instruction combined with clinical experience
• Satisfactory references from previous employer or school of x-ray.
• Basic CPR certification
