This career opportunity is located at one of our multi-modality outpatient imaging centers. Our center provides a wide variety of diagnostic imaging services to patients in a friendly and comfortable environment.

In thisMulti-Modalityposition you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform high quality radiologic, fluoroscopy, and mammography exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Occasionally travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, as well as complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
• Selects proper mode to produce correct exposure factors.
• Evaluates images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
• Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate. Explains procedures to patients.
• Prints film or burns CDs if warranted. Matches with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
• Provides orientation to new Mammographers.

We are looking for experienced and professional radiology technologistcandidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient radiologic and fluoroscopy exams and procedures with high quality results. Applicants to Radiologic Technologist jobs at RadNet must have ARRT(R) certification, State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT), CPR certification, and great communication skills! At least 1 year(s) of recent mammography technology work experience (post externship) is preferred!

Pay Range:
$34.00 - $49.00 / hour
