Chief Radiologic Technologist oversees radiologic services, maintains technical aspects of radiologic safety and evaluates accuracy and quality of X-rays. Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for radiologic services. Being a Chief Radiologic Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of radiologic technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief Radiologic Technologist requires an associate degree in radiology. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - (R). Typically requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager or director. The Chief Radiologic Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief Radiologic Technologist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You'll Do
    • Prepare and position patient for diagnostic imaging procedures using digital equipment
    • Explain procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and answer questions
    • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
    • Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow


    About You
    • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Current CRT certificate and current CPR- BLS
    • Eager and excited to learn new skills
    • Fun, genuinely caring attitude towards those you work with and help!
    • Fully or Limited Licensed Technologist needed

    $24.50 - $58 an hour
    Compensation offers are determined by a balance of factors such as level of education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
