Chief Radiologic Technologist oversees radiologic services, maintains technical aspects of radiologic safety and evaluates accuracy and quality of X-rays. Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for radiologic services. The Radiologic Technologist is primarily responsible for operating radiographic equipment to obtain and process radiographs of client anatomy, maintenance of radiographic equipment, and maintaining licensure of equipment. Assists with objectives, goals and client services relating to the Tuberculosis Program.
The following functions represent the majority of the duties performed by the position, but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary.

1. May review with the TB physician on film quality.
QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS:
Education: Associates degree preferred with two years of training in an accredited hospital. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Experience: Two years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
Knowledge and Skills:
Licenses: Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Regular physical effort required in lifting medical supplies weighing approximately up to 25 pounds. Work assigned schedule while being punctual.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY/ACCOUNTABILITY:
Direct Supervision – None.
Indirect Supervision – None.
Budget/Money/Material – Responsible for assigned equipment.
Reports to – Manager Tuberculosis.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Possible exposure to communicable diseases, blood, and other bodily fluids. Potential minimal exposure to radiation while operating x-ray equipment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
