Chief Radiologic Technologist oversees radiologic services, maintains technical aspects of radiologic safety and evaluates accuracy and quality of X-rays. Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for radiologic services. Being a Chief Radiologic Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of radiologic technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief Radiologic Technologist requires an associate degree in radiology. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - (R). Typically requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager or director. The Chief Radiologic Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief Radiologic Technologist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. This is a part-time position that has a varied schedule.Our centers are multi-modality and provide a wide variety of diagnostic imaging services to patients in a friendly and comfortable environment.

    As anX-Ray Technologistposition, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
    • Monitor patient's well being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
    • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
    • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
    • Occasionally travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage.
    • Participate in projects and/or meetings, as well as complete other tasks as assigned by management.

    Requirements:

    We are looking for experienced and professional radiology technologistcandidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient radiologic and fluoroscopy exams and procedures with high quality results. Applicants must have ARRT(R) certification, State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, CPR certification, and great communication and patient care skills! At least 1 year(s) of recent radiology technology work experience (post externship) is preferred!

    Pay Range $26.00-$32.00/ hr

    The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, location and training. This pay scale is not a guarantee of a particular wage.
