This recognized Acute Care Services department includes the Med Surg, ICU, OB, RT and Nursing Administration Units, providing the Chief Nursing Officer with ample opportunities for growth and service line development.
The CNO will be responsible for the clinical and administrative operations of the Medical Surgical, Critical Care, Employee Health/Infection Control, Emergency Department, Utilization Review and Discharge Planning for this 22 bed Hospital level IV Trauma Center.
Reporting up to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Nursing Officer will oversee and work in collaboration with department leaders and organizational staff to ensure compliance and quality patient care throughout the Hospital setting.
Supported by an exceptional team of MD’s, RN’s and other healthcare leadership, the CNO will be a valuable piece of this Joint Commission Accredited Hospital staff.
Operational oversight, fiscal management, implementation of performance improvement, and maintaining standards for regulatory compliance will be a few components of the Chief Nursing Officer’s responsibilities. The CNO can also expect to oversee training program development for staff, implement policies and procedures to maintain the consistent quality of care in each department.
