    The Inclusive Excellence Center is part of the Centers for Advocacy and Student Engagement ( CASE ) at UWM , a collective effort to educate, connect resources and develop programming that advocates for all students, ourselves, and each other in order to impact change at structural, institutional, and systemic levels.

    Job Summary
    Reporting to the Director of Advocacy and Student Engagement, the Director of the Inclusive Excellence Center’s primary functions are to provide a vision, strategic plan, and assessment; administrative and fiscal management; leadership and supervision; collaboration, advocacy, and community outreach.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree

    Minimum of two (2) years working experience in higher education

    Preferred Qualifications

    Master’s degree in public health, higher education, counseling, educational psychology, social work, or related field

    Four (4) or more years working experience in higher education

    Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience in higher education

    Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of emerging trends affecting marginalized student populations

    Experience working with marginalized and underrepresented student populations

    Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, implementing, and assessing programs and events

    Experience interpreting and communicating institutional policies, rules, and regulations

    Demonstrated experience in budget management, financial planning, fundraising, and grant proposal writing

    Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and foster mutually-beneficial working relationships with diverse constituencies, including but not limited to students, parents, faculty, staff, campus leadership and external entities

    Target Salary Range
    $56,000 - $63,000
