    Job Summary:
    The Chief Operating Officer/EOS Integrator assists in the development and implementation of the strategic direction of the company by delivering projects at the highest quality, achieving high customer satisfaction, on schedule, and within allotted budgets. This role plans and oversees all aspects of the business by integrating the major business functions down to the lowest levels of client project execution. The COO is responsible for developing strategies to acquire new business, while pursuing continuous improvement initiatives through the management of KPI’s with an acute focus on company profitability. The COO should be versed in business development, building and empowering direct reports, coaching, mentoring, providing oversight, offering feedback, cultivating, and recruiting talent and collaborating with key business partners throughout the company and industry. 

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Full profit and loss responsibility for the company as a whole.
    Running the day-to-day business operations and taking responsibility for all duties currently assigned to the CEO, enabling the CEO to focus on strategic initiatives. 
    Integrate the major functions of the business, administration/finance, operations, and business development.
    Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity across all departments.
    Maintain accountability by creating clarity and efficiency in day-to-day operations.
    Lead the continued implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) within the organization and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI) by Division maintaining strict accountability to the company’s vision and goals.
    Serve as a coach and mentor to department leaders, helping them to understand and apply the EOS principles and tools in their daily work. Delegate to and Elevate leaders.
    Facilitate regular EOS meetings, including Level 10 Meetings, Rocks Meetings, Quarterly and Annual Meetings.
    Ensure that EOS processes and tools are being consistently applied across all departments and teams.
    Work closely with the leadership team to align EOS objectives with overall company goals and strategy.
    Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize the company’s performance.
    Establish a structured approach to identifying, discussing, and resolving issues, which focuses on the data and metrics.
    Establish KPI’s and monitor progress towards initiatives that are pursued.
    Assist Leaders in Long Range/Short Term Planning initiatives.
    Lead industrial construction estimating and EPC negotiation contacts with clients.
    Collaborate with all company stakeholders, at various organizational ranks from executive to laborer, to assure that strategies are implemented in accordance with company goals, priorities, and initiatives.
    Be nimble enough to step into Junior Roles as the need arises to maintain continuity in the business when gaps appear.
    Oversee project management processes to ensure timely completion, adherence to budget, and quality control.
    Responsible for overall client relationship management. Meet, advise, and develop relationships with clients, and other key stakeholders. 
    Facilitate hiring, termination, and assignment of Division Leaders, Project Managers and Superintendents.
    Lead efforts to attract additional talent and workforce when projects ebb and flow.

    Required Skills & Abilities:
    Strong Leadership Skills
    Experience with P&L and forecasting.
    A strong background in Project Management.
    An elevated level of performance in project budgeting, scheduling, risk management and construction and subcontractor monitoring and oversight.
    In-depth knowledge of oil field construction principles/practices.
    Ability to lead and develop direct reports and maintain relationships with external entities in a respectful manner.
    Ability to respectfully hold others accountable.
    Execute great follow-up skills internal and external. 
    Ability to manage and effectively communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders in a respectful manner.
    Ability to monitor daily reports, employee timecards, and make sure Invoices are approved in a timely manner. 
    Ability to travel to sites to evaluate status, quality, and safety performance.
    Ability to understand and utilize all Badlands Software, systems, and processes. 
    Proficiency with MS Office Suite; proficiency in using scheduling and project management software.
    Excellent verbal and written communications.
    Excellent negotiation skills.
    Provide mentoring, performance management, motivation, and daily supervision of personnel.
    Direct and evaluate the ongoing training and development of personnel.

    Education & Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree required, in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. MBA Preferred.
    Ten (10) or more years of progressive construction management experience required, with the ability to manage all levels of construction projects and teams effectively and efficiently.
    Five (5) or more years of experience working in an oil and Gas construction management role.
    Two (2) or more years Project Management experience.
