Job Opportunity: Chief of Staff for Committee Chair, Maryland House of Delegates

Position: Annapolis, Maryland (January through April) Potential to work remotely and in Annapolis May through December.

Committment: Full-time

Key Responsibilities -

• Policy Expertise: Stay informed on legislative matters, analyze policies, and provide strategic advice to the Chair of the Committee.
• Organization: Maintain a well-organized schedule, ensuring all meetings, events, and deadlines are met promptly. Respond to all inquiries promptly.
• Engagement: Interact with constituents, stakeholders, and other legislators on behalf of the Chair, fostering positive relationships and representing the Chair's interests effectively.
• Event Attendance: Be available to attend various events, hearings, and meetings to support the Chair and stay informed on relevant issues.
• Team Leadership: Manage interns effectively, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Social Media: Ability to use social media and Canva or other design software.

Pay: $55,654.00 - $58,341.00 per year
