Overview
Dream Defenders, a National Black Freedom Organization, is seeking a dedicated Chief of Staff to join our team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in ensuring organizational efficiency, strategic alignment, and effective communication. This position requires a dynamic leader with a passion for social justice and proven experience in organizational management. The Chief of Staff is responsible for the development of Dream Defenders and its subsidiaries, financial management strategy and contributing to the development of the organization’s strategic goals. He/she/they acts as the liaison between top management and employees and/or other stakeholders and provides oversight and guidance to programmatic projects of high importance.

The Chief of Staff reports to the Executive Director and will lead a team of staff
Location
Remote with travel required about a week out of every month. East Coast preferable; other locations considered within U.S. for exceptional candidates

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position will be in the range of $80,000-$95,000, with an extremely competitive benefits package and generous personnel policies.
