Chief of Staff plans and directs all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the organization's President, CEO or other executive. Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the executive to facilitate efficient decision making. Being a Chief of Staff acts as a point of contact or gatekeeper between top management and other stakeholders. Provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance. Additionally, Chief of Staff may act as an advisor to the chief executive. May be responsible for the management of executive support staff. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to CEO or executive. The Chief of Staff manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. Hours: FT
Pay range: $70-75K

Location: Wilmington, DE
Duties and responsibilities
- Work with department heads and executives to create, solidify, and manage systems and processes
- Problem-solve any bottlenecks or breakdown of systems or processes
- Work with department heads to build out Zendesk to eliminate 90% of support calls
- Oversee the strategy and logistics for attending tradeshows and conferences
- Become proficient in software platforms listed below to provide reports/insight to the executives and maximize utilization of these essential tools
- Be the glue that holds departments and people together
- Keep a finger on the pulse of the company
- Ensure the company is communicating effectively
