Chief of Surgery directs the staff and programs of the surgical department. Works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Being a Chief of Surgery requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Chief of Surgery require extensive clinical experience. Typically reports to top management. The Chief of Surgery manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. We are seeking a full time (~32 hrs/wk ) Surgical Assistant Personnel who is highly motivated, has a desire for growth, energetic and friendly personality. Our practice is committed to providing excellent patient care and is looking for someone who shares this same objective.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Working knowledge of surgical instruments
- Surgical assisting and patient recovery
- Data entry and charting for procedures
- Managing phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Greeting patients, taking radiographs, medical history review
- Communicating with other doctors’ offices
- Developing/maintaining relationships with our referring offices
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Previous dental/surgical experience (1-2 years) a MUST
- Excellent communication skills, friendly, outgoing
