    Responsibilities and Duties:

    We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic surgery coordinator to join our team. We are a two provider oculoplastic surgery office expanding our practice as we continue to experience growth. The surgery coordinator is a liason for the patient and the provider to ensure a seamless process for the patient. Your duties will include and are not limited coordinating surgery date, pre and post op appointments for in office and outpatient surgery, presenting quotes for cosmetic procedures. Knowledge in prior authorization and pre-determination is helpful to be successful in this role.

    Qualifications and skills:

    Our practice prides itself on providing our patients with the highest quality of care in every aspect of the practice. You must be able to positively impact patients, coworkers, referring offices and the practice. We believe that successful candidates have the following work and educational histories:

    • Previous medical experience.
    • Surgery Scheduling experience.
    • Proven track record of growth or improvement within your position.
    • Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter.
    • Superior communication skills.
    • Willingness to continue to learn and grow your skill.

    Experience:

    • Surgery Scheduling: 1-2 years (Preferred)
    • Medical terminology: 2 years (Preferred)
    • Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Spanish Speaking (Preferred but not required)

    Benefits:

    8:00am – 4:00pm Monday- Friday

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
