Currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for a free standing ambulatory surgery center located just south of the LIE in Melville, NY. We are a multi specialty surgery center with specialties that include orthopedics, ENT, eyes/cataracts, ocular plastics, podiatry, general surgery and pain management. The position is for Monday to Friday with NO WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS.
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing assistance in the pre-op and recovery units to doctors, nurses and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
