    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Surgery Scheduler to join our team. The Surgery Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures, ensuring smooth operations and efficient patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office or an ambulatory surgery center, possess excellent communication skills, and be familiar with various scheduling systems.

    ```Responsibilities```

    - Schedule surgical procedures, coordinating with patients, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals

    - Obtain necessary pre-authorization and insurance verification for surgeries

    - Communicate with patients to provide pre-operative instructions and answer any questions or concerns

    - Coordinate with operating room staff to ensure availability of necessary resources for scheduled surgeries

    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records

    - Collaborate with billing department to ensure accurate coding and billing for surgical procedures

    - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

    ```Experience```

    - Previous experience working as a surgery scheduler or in a similar role within a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred

    - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to surgery scheduling

    - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

    - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
