PetCure Oncology at Veterinary Radiosurgery and Imaging Center is a small specialty veterinary practice in Northern New Jersey offering Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Internal Medicine care that is looking to add a part-time veterinarian to our growing team.
The primary job responsibilities of this position are to assist our off-site Radiation Oncologist by performing physical exams on new and existing patients and coordinating with the Radiation Oncologist to oversee patient care. This position is perfect for a General Practice Veterinarian, Urgent Care Veterinarian, or Emergency Veterinarian who is interested in training and support while working with a Boarded Radiation Oncologist to provide their patients with the highest standard of care. No on-call or weekends, amazing benefits, and an opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in the Oncology field. As this position relies on the Radiation Oncologist to make determinations regarding oncology care, no oncology experience or expertise is needed, though an interest in oncology is preferred. Ability to perform a comprehensive physical exam on canine and feline patients is required.
Hospital Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 5:30 pm. We are looking for either Monday & Tuesday or Wednesday & Thursday coverage.
