Looking to add to our cabinet assembly team. We build "flat pack" cabinets for kitchens and bathrooms.
Responsibilities include moving pallets of cabinets over to the assembly area, carefully opening the box and inspecting the parts, building the cabinet using screws, nails and glue.
You will need to mark off cabinets as they're built on the job's layout.
Important parts of the job are efficiently building cabinets while maintaining precision and quality, and working with deadlines, keeping an organized and neat work area.
There will be opportunities to go out to help with fabrication and finishing in the shop and to go out in the field and learn installation by assisting as a helper.
When possible, we try to load and delivery cabinets to job sites prior to install, so it's useful to have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a truck with a trailer.
Assembly is the entry level position in a cabinet shop, but we have had many employees over the years move up from assembly to higher level positions in the shop or in the field and / or more responsibility in the shop.
