Chief of Surgery jobs in Ventura, CA
Chief of Surgery directs the staff and programs of the surgical department. Works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Being a Chief of Surgery requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Chief of Surgery require extensive clinical experience. Typically reports to top management. The Chief of Surgery manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. - Perform fabrication, installation, assembly and quality control tasks as directed by your lead.
Requirements
- Detailed oriented, mechanically inclined and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Team player.
- Previous experience or technical schooling in wood or metal fabrication & installation.
- Knowledge of hand tools.
- Passion for building things by hand.
- Ability to periodically lift 40 pounds and be comfortable working in small spaces.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED and have good English language skills.
