Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. The Department of Surgery at UMass Memorial Health and the UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Division Chief of Cardiac Surgery to lead and grow our established program that services the entirety of Central Massachusetts. You will be a critical member of the Department’s leadership team helping to strategize, execute and operationalize policies within quality improvement, academics, research, and clinical excellence.
As the Division Chief of Cardiac Surgery you are charged with continuing the Division’s commitment to building quality clinical programs that provide our patients with outstanding, state of the art surgical care. You will report to our Department Chair to insure continued alignment with the mission of the Department of Surgery and the Medical Group.
