Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the daily operations of a child care center in accordance with state licensing requirements and regulations. Administers recruiting and staffing processes. Being a Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) provides training and professional development for staff. Experience and Knowledge of early childhood development and milestones with the aptitude to implement programs for children based on appropriate practices
*Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills to coordinate center functions
*Capacity to complete payroll, utilize software for billing and managing a budget
*Good knowledge and Implementation of a Montana childcare guidelines and State licensing requirements
*Must be willing to be certified as a director of childcare center and qualify for the stars program per the Montana department of public health and human services.
*Implement and supervise classroom activities and lessons
* Supervise all staff members
*Mentor staff, developing improvement plans
*Provide backup for all staff positions when subs are not available
*Monitor DPPH required paperwork and training for all staff
*Coordinate all health immunization reviews, and health and fire inspections
* Ensure program is effective and funds are managed and reported to board prudently
*Track accounts receivable for prompt payments from parents
Wage is $42, 000.00 to $46,000.00 per year DOE.
