Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the daily operations of a child care center in accordance with state licensing requirements and regulations. Administers recruiting and staffing processes. Being a Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) provides training and professional development for staff. Oversees enrollment activities, communications, and events that foster positive relations with families and the community. Additionally, Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) ensures that the activities and surroundings meet the needs of children and provide safety and security. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent. Depending on the location, may require a state specific director certification or a more general certification such as the Child Development Associate (CDA). Typically requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Typically reports to senior management. The Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Looking for an Assistant Teacher for the Four Year Old classroom. Must be willing to coordinate with the lead teacher in order to carry out lesson plans, assist children with a variety of tasks, adhere to the minimum standards set by the State of Alabama as well as those set by the National Accreditation Commission.
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 19 years or older
Preferred:
CDA or be willing to obtain a CDA
Child Development certificate
AA in Child Development or
BS/BA or higher in ECE or HDFS
Experience in a child care classroom
