We are seeking a passionate and dedicated childcare teacher to join our team at Kids Zone Childcare and Preschool. As a childcare teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children under your care. Your main responsibility will be to create a positive and engaging learning experience that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.

Responsibilities:
-Help develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
-Create a safe and supportive environment where children can explore, play, and learn.
-Provide individualized attention and care to each child to each child, taking into account their unique needs and interest.
-Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open lines of communication .
-Observe and assess children's behavior and development, identifying areas for improvement or intervention.
-Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities, events, and fieldtrips.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and child friendly classroom environment.
-Ensure the health and safety of children at all times, following established protocols and guidelines.
-Keeping accurate records of children's progress, attendance and any incidents or concerns.
Requirements:
-18 years or older
-Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
-Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting.
-Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and parents.
-Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
-CPR and First Aid certification. (or willingness to obtain)
- Food handlers permit.
