Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the daily operations of a child care center in accordance with state licensing requirements and regulations. Administers recruiting and staffing processes. Being a Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) provides training and professional development for staff. Oversees enrollment activities, communications, and events that foster positive relations with families and the community. Additionally, Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) ensures that the activities and surroundings meet the needs of children and provide safety and security. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent. Depending on the location, may require a state specific director certification or a more general certification such as the Child Development Associate (CDA). Typically requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Typically reports to senior management. The Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. The Admission Coordinator will be responsible for leading the facility in overall census growth, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction for current residents and leading the facility team in a positive customer service atmosphere.     QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous healthcare experience preferred.
    • Proficient in the use of electronic communication, capable of communicating through virtual meetings, email and other digital communication.
    • Familiarity with long-term care and/or health care services useful.
    • Experience in healthcare services, products, field management preferred.
    • Professional presentation image through appearance, behavior and speech.
    • Capable of effectively managing multiple tasks, communicating professionally and efficiently.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain standards as outlined in company, State and Federal guidelines related to the management of referral and admission information.
    • Manage multiple aspects of reporting data through electronic communications, data entry and collection.
    • Manage online referral resources communication and distribution of information efficiently.
    • Retention of current census and customer service aspects of the skilled nursing facility.
    • Lead and manage customer service campaigns internally with facility team members.
    • Attend scheduled meetings, calls and other requisites of the facility.
    • Maintain knowledge of area hospitals, providers and relationships of value for internal marketing purposes.
    • Effectively manage multiple tasks, including but not limited to referral management outside of routine business hours.
    • Screen and approve financial admission criteria for new referrals.
    • Manage compliance standards related to the admission and treatment of residents to the skilled nursing facility.
    • Manage and complete admission contracts, agreements, consents for current and potential residents.
    • Assess and communicate effectively as it relates to the financial and clinical details for current and potential new business.
    • Customer satisfaction survey completion, online reviews and follow-up.
    • Effectively support the potential for resident transition from short stay to long term.
    • Internal marketing and sales program development for facility and facility service area.
    • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
