  • Circles of Care, a licensed, accredited, private child placement and social service agency, is in need of a full-time Case Manager for its child placement program servicing Region 7 (Central Texas). This position is responsible for the placement, assessment, and monitoring of children and youth in licensed foster home facilities.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Conduct intake and placement of children into the program.
    • Coordinate scheduling of placements and discharges with caseworkers.
    • Treatment planning and writing.
    • Progress monitoring for treatment plan goals including service coordination as required.
    • Placement monitoring for appropriateness and continued suitability.
    • Conduct routine home visits to foster homes located throughout Region 7.
    • Maintain a supportive relationship with foster care resource parents, which includes identifying on-going training and support needs; assist in obtaining such services along with other team members.
    • Conduct routine audits of family and child files.
    • Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
    • Attend and participate in staff meetings and training as required.
    • Perform general office tasks as required.
    • Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.
    • Field work and flexible hours required to include some evenings and weekends. Work from home office.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • A bachelor's degree or higher in a human services, social work, or a related field.
    • Strong project management, customer service, and organizational skills. The ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with exceptional attention to detail.
    • The ability to relate to a variety of adults and children with a range of personalities and challenges.
    • The ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Professional demeanor and appearance.
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.).
    • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    Other Requirements:

    • Complete and clear a drug screen.
    • Submit and pass necessary background screening, including FBI fingerprint, in accordance with state requirements.
    • The ability to participate in and complete both instructor-led and self-instruct on-the-job training.

    This position is hybrid remote, so the ideal candidate will be motivated and accountable for their work. The ability to complete work and manage caseloads with little prompting and to meet deadlines is essential. In-office hours in the Temple, TX location are required. After hours and weekend work may be required to accommodate provider schedules - flexible scheduling is available to compensate for irregular work hours.

    Salary will fall within the range given and will depend on education level plus years of relevant experience.
