Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and visionary Creative Director to join our team and lead the development of captivating marketing materials for our live events and educational marketing organization. As the Creative Director - Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing both internal and external creative teams to produce television, radio, and print marketing materials that effectively promote our events and drive ticket sales. You will manage an internal team of graphic designers and video producers, ensuring their work aligns with our brand identity and marketing objectives.
Responsibilities
Creative Strategy: Develop and execute creative strategies that align with our overall marketing goals, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity across various marketing channels.
Team Management: Lead and inspire the internal creative team, including graphic designers and video producers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Coordinate with external creative agencies when necessary.
Campaign Conceptualization: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling concepts and themes for promotional campaigns that resonate with the target audience and create excitement around our events.
Content Development: Oversee the creation of TV commercials, radio spots, print materials, digital ads, and other marketing assets, ensuring high-quality output that effectively communicates key event details and generates interest.
Branding: Ensure that all marketing materials adhere to our brand guidelines, maintaining brand integrity and a cohesive visual identity throughout all touchpoints. Be able to conceptualize and implement new branding concepts and components when necessary.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of creative assets that align with campaign timelines.
Creative Direction: Provide clear and constructive feedback to internal and external teams, guiding the development of creative concepts and ensuring that they align with campaign objectives.
Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest design and marketing trends, incorporating innovative ideas and emerging technologies into our marketing efforts.
Performance Analysis: Work closely with the marketing team to analyze the performance of creative assets, using insights to refine future campaigns and maximize audience engagement.
Video Production: Oversee internal studio producing video content ensuring creative design principles are applied to set design and final edited content.
Qualifications
At least 10 years of experience in a creative leadership role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful marketing campaigns across TV, radio, print, and digital platforms.
Proven experience in creating and managing creative for B2C retail organizations, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to craft compelling messaging that drives customer engagement, conversions, and urgency. The B2C retail experience ensures that the candidate has the necessary background and expertise to create marketing materials tailored to the specific needs and preferences of retail consumers, a crucial aspect of driving ticket sales and brand engagement for our live events. Experience with live events or ticketed attractions a plus.
Ability to manage and motivate creative teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. This role provides ample opportunity to develop junior level staff and help them increase their skillset.
A comprehensive understanding of creating effective marketing materials for television, radio, print, OTT, OOH, and digital platforms, tailoring content to each medium's strengths. Should have prior experience producing video/film materials and managing voice-over recording sessions and talent.
Strong knowledge of branding principles, with the ability to maintain brand consistency and integrity across all creative outputs.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality.
A passion for creativity and a keen eye for design trends, coupled with the ability to think outside the box and develop fresh, engaging concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and provide clear feedback
