CSA Assistant Program Director

  • Child & Family Services is looking for a full-time Assistant Program Director for our Community Service Agency (CSA). CSA is a community-based organization whose function is to facilitate access to, and ensure coordination of, care for youth who require or are already utilizing multiple services or are involved with multiple child-serving systems (e.g., child welfare, special education, juvenile justice, mental health) and their families.

    The CSA Assistant Program Director is responsible for supervising the Care Coordinators, providing support and advocacy to parents/caregivers, working with the Program Director to oversee daily operations of the CSA, and ensuring that clinical standards and administrative requirements for the program are met.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a Master’s level clinician with at least three years’ experience in providing outpatient behavioral health services to youth and families
    • Experience with home-based or Wraparound is preferred
    • Must be certified with Massachusetts CANS, or eligible to become certified.
    • Availability during evening/weekend hours is required
    • Licensed preferred but not required

    Responsibilities:
    The following responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency’s needs.

    • Provide training, supervision, and support to the Care Coordinator
    • Participate and facilitate the System of Care committee
    • Support the Care Coordinators in skills development to work with families from diverse backgrounds, promote positive interactions with families, and foster positive working relationships with providers and organizations
    • Support the program and its entire staff in developing skills in wraparound, care planning teams, care management, and crisis response and support.
    • Monitor services, authorizations, and ensures staff compliance with policy and program procedures.
    • Participate in and facilitate meetings, trainings, evaluations and engage in quality management activities (inclusive of but not limited to MSEs, TOMs, chart audits)
    • Ensure staff participation in training, evaluation, and quality management activities
    • Assist PD in working with MCEs, state agencies, and other external partners, taking the lead as appropriate
    • Collaborate with PD for COA compliance and preparation
    • Provide coverage of client cases when needed
    • Participate in management team meetings
    • Monitor and assign program referrals
    • Perform other duties as required
