St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Child Life Specialist to work part time. 12 hour EU shift each week 10:30a-11p (Covering every 3rd weekend)
Applicants much have completed their 600 hour internship prior to starting.

Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose
To provide the scope of child life services to children and families who are receiving services from St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with health care professionals and hospital staff to provide optimal family centered care.
- Provides child life services to patients and families as assessed and prioritized including psycho-social preparation for hospitalization, procedures, surgeries, and/or other potentially stressful events.
- Actively contributes to the efficient operation of the Child Life Department, planning activities, special projects, meetings and outcome measures.
- Increases awareness of child life services throughout the hospital by providing information about the services, role modeling, medical record documentation and in-service education.
