Position: Staff Educator

Salary: Up to 90k

At Beechtree, the role of a Staff Educator is paramount within our Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Staff Educator, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing a compassionate and home-like atmosphere for our residents by training and guiding our nursing team. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring the consistent implementation of facility policies and procedures on a daily basis.

Your Responsibilities:

• Strategize, develop, oversee, evaluate, and coordinate comprehensive educational and on-the-job training programs.
• Incorporate relevant commercially-produced instructional materials and training aids into our in-service programs as needed.
• Assume a leadership role in shaping the goals and objectives of our in-service educational programs.
• Continuously refine, assess, and maintain the quality of our in-service educational programs in strict adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive orientation sessions for all new hires, facilitating a seamless transition for employees into their roles.
• Manage, cultivate, and organize records, reports, instructional manuals, reference materials, and other resources related to in-service educational programs.
• Collaborate in the development and execution of a quality assurance program for our in-service training.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in training nursing staff is highly preferred.
• Possession of a valid RN License in the State of New York is a mandatory requirement.
• COVID-19 vaccination is a prerequisite.
