Under indirect supervision the incumbent designs organizes implements and evaluates evidence-based educational programs orientations and continuing education that facilitate the professional growth skill development and competency of staff. These programs primarily support the organizations mission vision values and strategic goals to ensure quality safety and service in patient and family-centered care.
This position will be flexible covering various shifts with an emphasis on providing support in the clinical setting. In general 80% or more of this positions time will be spent in the clinical arena and 20% or less will be spent on computer based activities. Position requires a positive motivated self-driven individual who can handle multiple projects simultaneously. The incumbent may occasionally be required to cover shift changes when necessary to be present at huddles (am or pm) and also weekends if new education is rolling out in order to meet needs of all staff. The position reports to the Director Education.
