The Kemah Aquarium located in Kemah, TX, is seeking a part-time Educator. This facility includes freshwater and marine fish, stingrays, invertebrates, reptiles and amphibians. Primary responsibilities may include the following: public speaking and direct interaction with Aquarium guests, giving exhibit tours, delivery of educational programs, and supervising children during camp and day programs. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and attractive exhibit area. Experience working with children and/or animals preferred. College degree or coursework in education/biology preferred. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
