PROJECTXYZ has a rare opening for a Mold Setter in our manufacturing area where we provide prototype molds and parts to major OEM companies using world-class equipment and leading-edge technologies through stereolithography, selective laser sintering, vacuum casting, and other specialized processes.

Equipment and leading-edge technologies the company uses to provide molds and parts to major OEM companies include stereolithography, selective laser sintering, vacuum casting, and other specialized processes.

Purpose of Position:

The Mold Maintenance Setter sets molds.

This position will work 11PM-7:15AM (Sunday-Thursday). Candidate will receive a shift differential premium for working the off shift.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential):

· Changes tools per schedule and or leadership direction to deviate from schedules

· Maintains all tool change equipment and tools

· Pulls and changes molds in a safe and effective manner

· Reports all damaged tool change equipment to the appropriate personnel

· Assures 5S housekeeping measures are met

· Uses an overhead crane in a safe manner

· Changes end of arm tooling and ensures proper storage

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Must be able to read blueprints

· Prior injection molding experience is a plus

· Prior mold setter experience highly desirable

· Prior experience with hand tools

· Must be possess the skills and knowledge of creative problem solving, detail oriented with problem solving, decision making, and responsibilities in support of each employee to stimulate safety efforts and commitment.

Physical Factors:

· Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
