Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching various dance styles to students of all ages and skill levels. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging dance curriculum for different age groups and skill levels - Plan and conduct dance classes, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment - Teach proper dance techniques, including body alignment, posture, and coordination - Choreograph routines for performances and recitals - Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills - Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special needs or disabilities - Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate performances and events - Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of dance education Skills: - Strong background in various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, etc. - Experience working with children, adults, and individuals with special needs - Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching dance - Knowledge of curriculum development principles - Ability to provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students - Familiarity with theater production and stage management is a plus - Culinary skills for organizing themed events or workshops is an added advantage At our studio, we offer competitive pay rates based on experience.
