Looking for a dynamic Hip Hop Teacher and Choreographer. Will be interviewing for other styles of dance as well for subs, clinics, workshops, pop up and adult classes, with potential for a permanent teaching spot in the future.

Dance Teacher Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Dance Teacher to work with our students and lead our classes. This role will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment and teaching students of all ages, from beginners to advanced levels. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and creative instructor with excellent communication skills and ability to teach great technique.

Dance Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and teach dance classes, including setting up and breaking down the studio
• Develop and implement lesson plans that are tailored to the needs of each student
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space
• Provide individualized instruction and guidance
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
• Adhere to all safety regulations

Dance Teacher Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of teaching experience in dance preferred
• Professional certification in dance or related field preferred
• Knowledge of multiple dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Able to motivate and inspire students
• Able to work with a diverse student population

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
