Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students of all ages in Hip-Hop, Jazz and Techinque dance styles. This is a rewarding role that allows you to share your love for dance while helping students develop their skills and confidence.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons in various styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and contemporary
- Teach proper dance techniques, including body alignment, coordination, and rhythm
- Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their dance abilities
- Choreograph routines for performances and competitions
- Organize and lead rehearsals for group dances
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate events and performances
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure discipline is maintained
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the dance industry
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of various dance styles and techniques
- Strong ability to teach and demonstrate dance moves effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and understanding when working with students of different ages and skill levels
- Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, rehearsals, and performances effectively
