As a Civil Engineer at Schell Brothers you will be responsible for working with outside engineering, site work and other partners in connection with the design, planning, permitting and supervision of commercial and residential development projects. The ideal candidate will have up to 3 years of experience in residential and commercial land development design. Additional expertise in Stormwater Management (SWM), Grading, Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) Design and value engineering are required for this position. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated performance history of taking projects from concept through final approvals and assisting in the buildout of a project. Proficiency and experience in recent versions of AutoCAD are required, Civil 3D preferred.
Requirements
1. B.S. in Civil Engineering, P.E. Certification
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. 3 years of experience in land development, site engineering, sediment and erosion control, etc.
4. Water resources experience preferred, but not required
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Civil 3D a plus
6. Experience working with municipalities and agencies for approval of projects
