As an Engineer in Training (EIT), you will play a crucial role in supporting our project teams in the design, permitting, bidding and construction management of various Civil Engineering projects. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, permitting and construction admin/management of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects using industry-standard software and methodologies.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with team members, clients, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
• Support the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to advance towards professional engineering licensure.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in civil or environmental engineering projects.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills and programs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
