Civil Engineer designs and supervises construction projects such as airports, bridges, channels, dams, railroads, or roads. Reviews designs, tests and assesses materials, and performs necessary data collection and calculations in areas such as traffic forecasting, soil capacity, groundwater analysis, and structure design. Being a Civil Engineer responsibilities also include estimating costs, estimating personnel and material needs, preparing proposals, and establishing completion dates. May also assist in inspecting aging infrastructure or overseeing improvement projects. Additionally, Civil Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. May require a Professional Engineer License (PE). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Civil Engineer work is closely managed.     We are currently seeking a motivated and talented entry-level civil engineer to join our team. As an integral member of our civil engineering department, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and gain valuable experience in the field. This is an ideal position for someone with 1-3 years of experience.

     

    Essential Job Functions:


    • Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to plan and execute projects.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project conditions and progress.
    • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
    • Assist in obtaining permits and approvals from regulatory authorities.

     

    Education/Experience/Skills:


    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
    • EIT (Engineer-In-Training) certification is a plus.
    • Proficiency in engineering software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
    • 1-3 years of experience
