We are looking for a passionate Civil Engineer to join our Boise, Idaho office. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on Private, Municipal, and Federal projects where you’ll play a role in the entire design process, including but not limited to, preliminary assessments, concept creation, detailed design, problem resolution, and drawing and specification production. You’ll also coordinate with other engineering trades including process, structural, architectural, and electrical engineers to produce fully functioning facility designs.
At Jacobs you’ll use your experience to manage the ongoing progress of a project task or segment, including the coordination of the project with City, County, and State officials, and other outside agencies. You’ll use your problem-solving skills to resolve a variety of complex problems, (i.e. conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements). You’ll also have the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise by mentoring junior team members to help your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward.

Here’s what you’ll need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
• At least 5 years of civil design experience related to civil infrastructure projects including site layout, grading and drainage, utility design, and interdisciplinary coordination
• Project experience with municipal and public sector projects
• AutoCAD Civil3D design experience or equivalent modeling software
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Civil 3D, BIM360, and ProjectWise proficiency and experience
• Construction Management experience and familiarization with Services during Construction.
• Experience developing and modeling Civil 3D design surfaces and civil site pipeline systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables
