Senior Civil Engineer


Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a U.S. Citizen with a strong background in civil engineering, demonstrating expertise in federal, state, and local codes and standards, including Department of Energy Orders. This role requires a professional who can effectively plan, organize, and coordinate civil engineering projects, ensuring high-quality designs and successful project executions.


Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate civil engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects across the planning, design, and construction phases.
• Generate innovative designs for water distribution systems, water supply, sewage collection, distribution, treatment, grading and drainage, and pavement evaluation and design.
• Conduct thorough reviews of construction documents to ensure compliance with all project requirements.
• Produce and review accurate design/evaluation calculations, specifications, and ensure all designs meet required standards and codes.
• Utilize computer-aided drafting (CAD) applications to create and modify engineering designs and drawings.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design, estimating, specification preparation, and construction document preparation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to civil engineering design.
• Proficiency in computer-aided drafting (CAD) applications and familiarity with the latest engineering technologies.
