Requirements:
Experience in Civil 3D and Pipeline
Ability to monitor task budget and progress
Capable of preparing computer-generated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings for clients
Can generate bill of materials
Able to create estimated time requirements for projects
Ability to coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors
Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site field walks as needed
Prepare project status and other reports
Assist with the preparation of proposals
Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.
Must be open to work remotely or spend time in a field office depending on location
Preferred Skills:
Experience in engineering design
Familiarity with site plan approvals, permits, land planning
Knowledge in grading
Proficient in putting plans together using AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation (grading and pipe network)
Job Details: The successful candidate will be involved in designing/drafting underground gas pipelines throughout the state. Designing elements include Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Flanges, Valves, Bypass Valves, Meters, Flow pipes etc. The working hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm.
