Summary: Seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Pipeline design to monitor project budgets, prepare project materials and coordinate with sub-contractors.

Requirements:

• Experience in Civil 3D and Pipeline

• Ability to monitor task budget and progress

• Capable of preparing computer-generated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings for clients

• Can generate bill of materials

• Able to create estimated time requirements for projects

• Ability to coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site field walks as needed

• Prepare project status and other reports

• Assist with the preparation of proposals

• Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.

• Must be open to work remotely or spend time in a field office depending on location

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in engineering design

• Familiarity with site plan approvals, permits, land planning

• Knowledge in grading

• Proficient in putting plans together using AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation (grading and pipe network)

Job Details: The successful candidate will be involved in designing/drafting underground gas pipelines throughout the state. Designing elements include Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Flanges, Valves, Bypass Valves, Meters, Flow pipes etc. The working hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm.
