Description:
- Performs engineering design work and calculations on projects of increasing difficulty, and prepares plans, specifications, and cost estimates through the use of Auto Cad Civil 3D, MS Word, MS Excel and other software.
- Maintain quality control for several tasks related to project delivery. Monitor and review work of other Engineers and Technicians.
- May have exposure to project management duties involving scope, budge, schedule and billing of specific project tasks.
- Client contact and represent the company on specific project items.
- Responsible for field verifications of existing conditions related to project plans and specifications in order to develop conformity with design intent.
- Responsible for projects of different complexity. May provide specialization in a particular discipline and assume lead roles in a narrow segment of a project or coordinate the work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or minimum 4 years experience equivalent to Assistant Engineer.
- EIT (Engineering in Training) preferred but not necessary.
- Auto Cad - Civil 3D
- Knowledge of grading design, storm water management, ADA compliance, hydraulics, hydrology, pipe design, earthwork, site design, roadway geometrics, and surveying.
- Ability to work within within a team selling and effectively communicate with co-workers on project needs and requirements. May participate in the coordination of deliverables.
- Good time management skills and good oral and written communication skills.
