AutoCADD Designer/Drafter for Civil (Water Resources) Engineering

Small, emerging civil engineering organization has a part time position available for a highly motivated Civil CAD Technician (Auto Cad Drafter/Designer) to support a range of civil engineering design projects. This position is a part-time for a minimum of 6 months with the option to transition to a full-time position pending verification of skill to independently perform critical tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a self-driven, detail-oriented, responsible candidate that is proficient in AutoCad Civil 3D (most current version) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil construction plan preparation for water, sewer, and storm drain systems. The successful candidate will also have a minimum of 5 years of experience with Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.

TYPICAL DESIGNER/DRAFTER DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Oversee project construction plans from start to finish,
• Prepare Excel spread sheets and Word Documents,
• Submit Applications to the various agencies,
• Attend project meetings,
• Coordination with Utility companies during design process,
• Design/Drafting of the project construction plan sets including details/General notes,
• Implementing industry/company standards into the design, and
• Prepare equipment schedules.

Job Types: Part-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• No weekends
