PROJECT ENGINEER – CIVIL/SITE

Job Description:

Petry Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer with 3 years of experience. As a civil engineer at Petry Engineering, you will be working on a diverse number of civil engineering projects, including Site Plans, stormwater management design, roadway design, and permitting. You will be working directly with the principals of the firm. The job responsibilities will include:

· Review of municipal zoning and land development ordinances and applicable agency regulations to determine land development limitations for a given site.

· Preparation of site plans, conceptual site plans, reports, and specifications.

· Design site grading and stormwater management designs.

· Design of roadway improvement projects

· Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.

· Preparation of construction cost estimates

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

· Passed FE exam, PE or on track for PE preferred

· 3 years of prior relevant professional experience in site/civil design. Including site development, stormwater management, grading, and drainage, preferably within the State of New Jersey

· Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoTURN, Excel, and Hydrology software

· Proficient in design and drafting

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work well in a small group environment
