As a Mechanical Claims Adjuster, you'll use your automotive expertise in a professional office environment. Your role will involve investigating, evaluating, and negotiating vehicle repair claims, accurately determining coverage and liability based on the reported fact scenario. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to provide precise benefit and adjust amounts on claims and to reach fair, efficient resolutions while managing costs according to policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Adjudicate and authorize claims within your dollar-limit authority.
• Ensure the accuracy of coverage information when responding to inquiries by providing customer clarity on coverage and financial commitment.
• Successfully handle up to 50 inbound calls daily from repair centers and Customers/Contract Holders.
• Review and determine claims based on the reported fact scenario given by the repair facility submitted through the online portal.
• Collect and verify all diagnostic information provided by the repair facilities.
• Respond to inquiries while providing information and explanations regarding the various levels of coverage.
• Manage Workflow – Process and complete all requests and documents in accordance with established processes and procedures.
• Achieve and maintain agreed-upon metrics within the scheduled time.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

Required Skill and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on automotive repair and diagnosis experience.
• Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
• Current or previous ASE Certification preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of Claims processing experience
• Experienced in ProDemand, Alldata, and Carfax is a plus.
• Experience with PCRS, SCS auto or other warranty management software.
• 2-3 years leadership experience
• Spanish fluency/Bilingual a plus
• Parts and Labor Guide familiarity.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs.
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High school Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to efficiently understand contracts/policies/procedures and apply them accordingly.
• Call-center experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
