SALARY: $50,000 for entry level, up to $90,000.

We are a boutique, independent insurance adjusting firm representing domestic & international insurance carriers. Our company was established in 2005 and is family owned and operated. We have offices in Los Angeles, New York/Connecticut, Miami, & Toronto. We handle specialty insurance claim investigations and on-site security inspections involving Jewelry, Fine Art, Coins/Precious Metals, Sporting Events, Concerts, Food Recalls and other niche lines of insurance.
JOB SUMMARY & DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates organizational and investigative skills, attention to detail and has strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Processing incoming claims and maintaining hardcopy files.
· Engaging in telephonic and email correspondence with clients and brokers.
· Performing on-site security inspections for accounts on a local and regional basis.
· Insurance Policy review and interpretation
· Thoroughly investigating claim submissions and loss circumstances.
· Claim analysis and financial adjustment based on Policy terms and conditions
· Drafting detailed Claim & Inspection Report
· Attending off-site meetings with brokers, company senior management
California Adjusters license not required at the time of applying, however the candidate must be able to obtain an Adjusters license if hired.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:
· Experienced with Microsoft Suite programs such as Word and Excel.
· Experienced using Mac OS software and Dropbox
· Experience in insurance / claims adjusting preferred but not required.
· BA/BS degree preferred but not required.
· Excellent written and verbal English skills.
· Must be able to travel locally and regionally. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
