Claims Analyst analyzes and reviews insurance claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility. Reviews claims for eligibility to be reimbursed. Being a Claims Analyst maintains updated records and prepares required documentation. Assists in controlling the cost of processing claims. Additionally, Claims Analyst contacts policyholders about claims and may provide information regarding the amount of benefits. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Claims Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Director of Claims oversees our Claims department in their work to uphold the highest level of customer service for TTMT clients, via communication, precision, and timeliness. This position coordinates closely between multiple departments to successfully process claims while staying educated on the continuously changing world of insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitors and maintains that client files are handled efficiently, accurately, and with quality workmanship.
- Supervises and coaches a diverse team of coordinators and team leads while encouraging a positive and supportive network of interdependence within the department.
- Offers coaching and guidance that consistently demonstrates high expectations with elevated executive presence and professionalism.
- Ensure department goals are met so we can continue offering one of the highest clean claims rates in the industry.
