Being a Claims Examiner studies reports prepared by adjusters and similar claims to determine the extent of insurance coverage and validity of the claim. Communicates with agents, claimants, and policy holders. Additionally, Claims Examiner determines settlement according to organization practices and procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Claims Examiner work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Threat Tec, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business, has an immediate opening for a Test Examiner to join our growing company at Fort Bragg, NC.

    SUMMARY:

    The Test Examiner administers and oversees tests and assessments according to prescribed guidelines and standards. Controls admission to and exit from the testing room, and enforces test security procedures before, during, and after testing. Checks identification of examinees and checks rosters. Accounts for all test materials from time of receipt to completion of the test process. Prepares the testing room in advance of each testing session. Distributes test materials and administers tests according to specific guidelines and instructions. Monitors the conduct of examinees during testing sessions. Reports any irregularities in the testing process to the base Test Control Officer and the supervising administrator. Prepares documentation associated with testing, and reports data on transmittal sheets as instructed. Enters test data into databases and de-conflicts duplicate entries. 

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Schedule testing for all unit personnel. 
    • Ensure test integrity by verifying examinee identity and preventing cheating. Report variances to GOVT. 
    • Assess and analyze language testing statistics regarding scheduling, duration, and other perspectives in order to increase efficiency of the testing program and reduce the percentage of untested personnel in the unit. 
    • Serve as the unit Language Test Examiner and be responsible for language testing at each unit’s language testing facility, assess and analyze language testing statistics to enhance the effectiveness of the Special Warfare Educations Group (SWEG) LREC Training Program. 
    • Ensure testing is conducted IAW DA Pam 611-16 (Handbook of Army Personnel Tests) and AR 621-5 Rapid Action Review (RAR, Section II Testing). 

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in any field  
    • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.  
    • Military, DoD, government experience 
    • Ability to interact on a professional level with administration, faculty, students, and all personnel. 
    • Effective use of diplomacy, tact, and judgment. 
    • Ability to work well independently; demonstrated creativity, self-discipline, and organization; and ability to search and understand new technologies and their potential. 

    TRAVEL:

    • Travel may be required for 1st SFC (A) TE
