Best Driving Academy, part of BEST Logistics Group, is now hiring dynamic go-getters for our Full-Time CDL Examiner role!

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Best Driving Academy is the newest addition to BLG, based in Kernersville, NC (and soon Burlington, NC), that was created with a strong focus on providing a quality education to each student ready to jump behind the wheel of their career as a CDL Driver.

At Best Driving Academy, our goal is to prepare our students for real-world opportunities by providing them with training in a state-of-the-art environment that utilizes technology and trainers with proven industry experience. The ideal candidate is an experienced driver instructor that can work well in a team environment and provide constructive feedback and real-world knowledge as they prepare students to obtain their CDL. CDL Examiner's MUST be able to provide instruction in a manual transmission vehicle (no restrictions) and MUST be willing to drive and run loads for BLG during periods of slow class volume. If required to drive, most loads will run 2-3 days over the road. 

Job Duties

• Provide instruction/examination to students in both a classroom and range environment.

• Maintain a safe environment from both students and instructors.

• Provide instruction in a classroom environment.

• Provide instruction/examination behind the wheel and range instruction for a Class A Tractor Trailer

• Observe, document, and provide feedback to students as necessary to improve skills and knowledge.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

• Set up the classroom and range daily as needed.

Qualifications

• Posses a Class A CDL License
• At least 5 years experience driving a Class A CDL Vehicle.
• At least 2 years of experience driving within the last 5 years.
• Be able to become a licensed instructor by the State of North Carolina.
