Claims Manager manages the operations of an insurance claims department to meet operational, financial, and service requirements. Oversees the intake and processing of insurance claims for personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage. Being a Claims Manager manages appraisal and examination staff and processes. Assures timely and proper disposition of claims based on policy provisions. Additionally, Claims Manager recommends and implements best practices to ensure complete and thorough claim settlements, legal reviews, and investigations following company policies and insurance industry regulations. Determines the value of settlements for escalated claims. Manages negotiations of settlements and administration of claims in litigation. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Claims Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Claims Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     WHO we’re looking for:

    We are looking for a Sales Claims Coordinator II who will be responsible for assisting manager in Sales Administration in the following areas: Sales Promotional claim validation and processing, Sales MDF program analysis, Sales Related chargeback resolution, and various special projects.

    Role and Responsibilities:
    • Validate and Process Sales Deduction claims through SAP Claim System.
    • Validate and Process SPA claims through Salesforce Dotcom.
    • Maintain and reconcile Sales MDF programs for Regional Sales.
    • Work with Sales in order to reduce monthly chargebacks.
    • Analyze chargeback process and design a way to lessen the number of deductions and process more efficiently.
    • Assist with special & other ad hoc requests.
    Required Experience and Education:
    • 3 years' experience.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
    • Account Reconciliation experience is a plus.
    • Experience in a corporate environment is preferred.
    Necessary Skills and Attributes:
    • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
    • Ability to work well with others and take direction from supervisor and other top management.

Requires considerable (90% ) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

    Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
