Process Technician

Location: Eden, NC, 27288

Job Description

The Process Technician will be responsible for:

• Operating and maintaining chemical processing equipment
• Monitoring and controlling chemical processes
• Performing quality control tests on products
• Recording and analyzing data from chemical processes
• Identifying and troubleshooting issues with equipment and processes
• Loading and unloading tankers according to written procedures.
• Maintaining proper procedures for tank farm utilizing tanks, lines, manifolds, gauges, fittings, gaskets and hoses
• Monitor all processes and utilize lab testing equipment including gas chromatograph, Karl Fisher titrator, pH titrator, colorimeter and viscometer.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Collaborating with other team members to improve processes and products

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Chemical Technology or related field
• 2 years of experience in chemical processing
• Strong understanding of chemical processes and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
